Derry's Halloween festivities will soon be upon us, and in preparation for walking through the city's transformed worlds, Derry Halloween has released a series of maps to help walkers and families find exactly where they need to go.
There will be three worlds to explore in Derry's city centre - one will be situated along the River Foyle Quayside, one within the city's iconic walls. The final world is in Ebrington Square and St. Columb's Park, accessed via the peace bridge.
Here is your guide to navigate through Derry's Halloween worlds.
1. The Whispering Wharf, Derry Quayside.
Discover the power of Cailleach, Queen of Winter, Goddess of the Cold as she takes you through the chilling winds of the river with ghost stories and spectacles leading to the city centre.
2. The City of Bones, Guildhall Square and Diamond.
Meet Walter de Burgh and his ancestors as they haunt the confines of the Walled City, transforming it into the City of Bones, with installations that will chill even the coldest of hearts.
3. The Awakening and the Forest of Shadows, Ebrington Square and St. Columb's Park
Ominous spirits are waiting, as portals emerge allowing eager crowds to move through the Samhain circle. Phanton Queen Morigan welcomes you to her lair, with dancing flames and hypnotic, mesmerising displays. Not even the trees will be as they seem.
