March 30--Police found a 5-year-old girl from far south suburban University Park early Monday morning after issuing an Amber alert overnight.
Samiah Lomax was abducted by two suspects from her home in University Park around 11:03 p.m. Sunday, according to an alert from the Illinois State Police.
As of about 4:40 a.m., police said the girl was found safe in the 11700 block of South Harvard Avenue in the city's West Pullman neighborhood.
An Illinois State Police representative confirmed that one person was taken into custody as a result of the incident.
