Fees Home/EU full time students currently pay £9,000 per year, international students pay £13,200.

Bursaries Awards include:

Academic Achievement Scholarship – £2,000 paid to students who achieve the EU equivalent qualifications of at least ABB at A-level

Refugees and Asylum seekers – Full tuition fee costs for English language programmes (refugees) and an additional £1,000 towards course related costs (asylum seekers) for students from BAME backgrounds who intend to study a 3 or 4 year degree course at USW. Full details here

Sport Scholarships - Available to students performing to a high standard in their chosen sport, and representing the University in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) league. Full details here

Accommodation All student accommodation options are non-catered. Costs start at £95.76 per week for a single en-suite and ago as high as £170 per week for a studio flat. Bills are included and 75% of first year students who request halls of residence accommodation can expect to be allocated places.

University owned halls of residence (70% of those available) are located at the University’s Pontypridd campus. Cardiff and Newport campuses are catered for by private halls of residence providers.
