University cafe launches bumper ice-cream box for Easter

A much-loved west end cafe is serving up an eggcellent alternative for Easter celebrations if you're not that into chocolate.

The University Cafe is launching a bumper box which will let loyal customers recreate a sweet classic dish at home.

The ice-cream pack comes equipped with oysters, nuggets or snowballs and is similar to one which was available at the Byres Road eatery over Christmas.

And due to popular demand, they've resurrected the bumper pack for Easter and are ready to roll it out.

The box includes two litres of ice cream, one tub of raspberry sauce, one tub of sprinkles, four large flakes or cream eggs, one bag of mini eggs and your choice of nougats, oysters or snowballs.

The box is aimed at wee ones and parents alike and comes with a price tag of £20.
