ORLANDO, Fla. _ This year, Universal Orlando's Mardi Gras theme will showcase more "booty" than any previous event _ meaning to say, it involves swashbuckling pirates looking for buried treasure.
Mardi Gras turns 25 during Universal's 2020 event, and in honor of the anniversary, the creative minds behind the festivities are theming floats and costumes with a "Treasures of the Deep" twist. Park visitors can enjoy New Orleans-inspired parades, floats, food and more through April 2. The event started Feb. 1.
