Universal Orlando has released the first singers set to perform during the Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Studios beginning next month. Among the artists: Macklemore, Pitbull, Becky G and Dan (plus) Shay.
There will be 13 concerts during the 2019 event, which runs from Feb. 9 through April 4. The performances are included in regular park admission.
The New Orleans-style parade will run through the streets of the park nightly throughout the event celebration. Universal says six new floats will be introduced that work into the party-animal theme. They will feature animals from the arctic, jungle, ocean and beyond.
Along with the concert schedule, Universal announced that the Cajun cuisine offerings will be served as a "tasting size." New menu items will include frog legs, crab etouffee and craft-beer flights with regional brews from Louisiana.

New Orleans bands set to perform in the park's French Quarter Courtyard are Dirty Bourbon River Show (Feb. 9-17), Naughty Professor Brass Band (Feb. 18-Feb. 27), Free Agents Brass Band featuring Honey Bannister (Feb. 28-March 18) and New Breed Brass Band (March 19-April 4).
