For midfield hardman Keane bought it to celebrate United winning the treble in 1999, according to the vendor.
The 3.2 litre DB7 Vantage is listed for sale on AutoTrader for £23,950.
The seller - Scott James of Lytham - said letters accompanying any sale prove the car’s provenance.
The Aston Martin - registered in 1998, a year before United won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League - is a two-door petrol automatic.
It’s finished in a ‘special order, one-off’ gold with a black leather interior.
The car’s description on AutoTrader reads: “Low mileage example.
“Finished in a special order one off colour with black leather.
“Low ownership and garaged all of its life.
“First owner Roy Keane bought when Utd won the treble, letters confirming this.
“Last owner 15 years who has meticulously looked after it.
“Gold, 3 owners, £23,950.”
The vehicle was registered on April 1, 1998.
Former United captain Keane, who it’s understood now drives a Range Rover, made 480 appearances for United, scoring 51 goal.
He made his debut in 1993 and left the club in 2005 after winning 17 major trophies with the Reds.
Keane was suspended for the Champions League final of 1999, having picked up a booking in the semi-final second leg against Juventus, but an inspirational display in that game hauled United back into the tie.
