United Airlines flight from USA to Germany makes emergency landing in Dublin Airport after medical issue

A flight from the US to Germany was forced to make an emergency landing in Dublin Airport after a medical emergency on board.

United Airlines flight 907 from Chigaco to Frankfurt made the landing this morning so the passenger could receive help from medics in the capital.

A spokesperson confirmed the incident saying they took off again from Dublin and arrived in the German city around 11.45am.

They said: "United flight 907 (Chicago-Frankfurt) diverted to Dublin today due to a passenger requiring medical attention.

"The aircraft subsequently departed Dublin and arrived in Frankfurt at 11:45 a.m. local time."
