Uniswag is a website focused on, you guessed it, stylish uniform designs. Every year, Uniswag groups together all of the best uniforms from different sports to crown the year’s best uniform. This year, Michigan State basketball was named a nominee for the Third Annual Uniform of the Year Award.
The specific Spartan jersey nominated is the new alternative jersey worn against Maryland earlier this year. This throwback jersey pays homage to MSU’s 2000 NCAA championship team. In my opinion, these jerseys are some of the cleanest in the game.

The only other Big Ten teams nominated for Uniform of the Year are Ohio State and Rutgers. In 2019, Pitt won the Uniform of the Year Award. The year before, Clemson went home with the Award.
