Unique way Mohamed Salah perfectly summed up Liverpool's comeback

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah perfectly summed up their stunning Barcelona success - before it had even happened.

The Egyptian ace was ruled out of the Champions League semi-final second leg after suffering a concussion against Newcastle last week.

Salah arrived at Anfield and instantly turned heads in a t-shirt stating "Never give up" - and his side lived by his motto on his absence.

It proved the story of the night as Liverpool certainly did not give up, defying the odds to emerge with a 4-3 aggregate win after most had given them no hopes of reaching their second straight final.

Salah posted a picture of him wearing the t-shirt after the game and stated: "Caption included" - and he was lapping up his prophetic choice of clothing as he pointed to his shirt in front of the Kop after the game.

It led to Liverpool fans claiming "he knew" what a magical night was about to unfold on Merseyside.

Salah's return will be a major boost in the final after their back-up attackers Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri stepped in to fill the void left by Salah and Roberto Firmino as they pulled of the most unlikely of comebacks.
