Unique Lamborghini Countach set to fetch £200,000

THE only Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary model ever finished in orange is up for grabs at auction and expected to fetch more than £200,000.

Ordered new in 1990, its owner asked for the colour to match his other 1975 Countach painted in Arancio Miura.

At first, Lamborghini was reluctant but eventually agreed and made the unique car, which is also one of only 67 of this model built with right-hand drive.

However, the lucky owner has covered just 4000 miles in the car and put it in storage for 22 years.

It’s now been put back on the road and is ready for a new owner to enjoy its stunning lines and performance thanks to a 5.2-litre V12 engine.

Silverstone Auctions is selling the car on the weekend of February 22-23 at its Race Retro sale at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

Whoever wins the auction will also get the car’s original registration, all of the documents supplied when new and even a set of Lamborghini driving gloves included when the car was first delivered.
