Union Minister JP Nadda undergoes angioplasty at AIIMS, New Delhi; declared stable

Union Minister JP Nadda on Monday had undergone angioplasty at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and has been declared to be medically stable by hospital staff.

"Shri JP Nadda, Hon'ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, underwent angioplasty on 17th August 2026 and is stable and under observation in the Dept of Cardiology," said the AIIMS press release.

Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi had extended his wishes to the Nadda for his speedy recovery.

"Wishing a speedy recovery and good health to Union Minister Shri JP Nadda Ji," Sanghavi said on X.
