UNINTERRUPTED launches ‘Glass Helmet Project’ so football players can be seen

LeBron James loves football. And although he didn’t play it beyond his first two years of high school, he’s still a good bet to watch every Sunday to watch his favorite players or cheer on his hometown Cleveland Browns, who have the highest expectations they’ve had in several decades entering this season. But LeBron’s UNINTERRUPTED’s latest project has less to do with the results on the field and more about the players under the helmet.

LeBron’s UNINTERRUPTED sports media company announced a new project called “The Glass Helmet Project,”where they combined with artist Victor Solomon to create a glass helmet that is a direct contract to the helmets football players wear on the field, which usually lead to fans not knowing the faces of the players they cheer for. The goal of the project is to put the focus on the individual athlete rather than take it away, which is typical of football culture.

New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley was one of the athletes featured in the company’s rollout of their stories on the UNINTERRUPTED Instagram page.

Several other players are featured on UNINTERRUPTED as Thursday is the start of yet another NFL season.
