Holly Willoughby looked less than impressed today as she grilled Wayne Lineker on what was wrong with "women his own age".
Gary Lineker's brother, 58, went viral on Instagram after listing criteria for his ideal girlfriend, which including them liking older men - but only Wayne Lineker - and definitely not being his own age, as "28 or 29 would work".
He also demanded that they not have "baggage" and that they are "intelligent, outgoing and not boring".
Ahead of his appearance on Celebs Go Dating, Wayne spoke to This Morning hosts Holly and Phillip Schofield and was questioned on why he took part.
"My family are very concerned about me because when I'm single I tend to get carried away," he admitted. "I want to settle down and I don't want to have this crazy lifestyle."
Phil went on to grill him on whether he would be trustworthy, considering his work-life in Ibiza.
"I'm a very trustworthy person," he insisted. "I've never cheated on a girl in my life."
He also revealed that he was persuaded by the coaches on the E4 show to "broaden his age bracket after initially requesting a girlfriend to be around 30 years old.
But Holly interjected, asking: "What's wrong with women your own age?!"
Wayne sheepishly replied that he "wouldn't rule it out" but that it wasn't really his "thing".
"Every pot has a lid," Phil quipped.
