The international firm manufactures countless products under its three main categories - food and refreshment, beauty products and home care - and among its household names are Dove, Lynx, Domestos, Cif, Magnum and Hellmann's.
Established over a century ago, the huge company owns over 400 household name brands in total, with products available in almost 200 countries, employing almost 150,000 employees.
The business is headquartered in London with its home care and personal care R&D centre in Port Sunlight, Wirral. In 2020, it turned over £50bn, reporting a net profit of £6.1bn.
