Unfortunate moment bride bats ball straight into new husband's groin caught on camera

A couple had a rocky start to married life - after the bride smacked her husband in the groin during a wedding game of rounders.

Sarah Chesterfield - wearing her white dress and matching trainers - took a swing of the bat and sent the ball crashing into new hubbie Matt Chesterfield.

However, she didn't seem phased as her groom rolled around in pain - making a home run as guests laughed and cheered.

After celebrating, Sarah did eventually make sure her partner is okay, as the two shared a kiss on the grass.

The unexpected incident happened as the pair tied the knot at Carlyon Bay Hotel, in Saint Austell, Cornwall, on September 25.

Cornish videographer Grant Alexander filmed the event and the bride's sister, Hailey MacDonald, shared the video TikTok.

The amusing footage has been viewed over 450,000 times.

She said: "My sister was adamant that we were all going to play rounders, so that's what we did. The video shows the first throw from the groom."
