Unforgotten: New full cast list as Sinéad Keenan takes over role from Nicola Walker

Unforgotten has returned for series five. Written and created by renowned screenwriter Chris Lang, the popular ITV drama will see Sanjeev Bhaskar's character DI Sunny Khan's loyal and hard-working cold case investigations team back together.

Reprising their roles for the new season are Jordan Long as DS Murray Boulting and Carolina Main as DC Fran Lingley. Also returning to the series are Georgia Mackenzie as pathologist Dr Leanne Balcombe, Michelle Bonnard as Sunny’s partner, Sal and Pippa Nixon as DC Kaz Willets.

There is, of course, one major change as Sinéad Keenan, who was BAFTA nominated for her role as Melanie Jones in Little Boy Blue, takes on the brand-new role of DCI Jess James. Sinéad's character will be introduced in series 5 following the death of DCI Cassie Stewart, played by Nicola Walker, at the end of season 4.

As well as many familiar faces, there will be plenty of guest stars in the fifth series of Unforgotten. Ian McElhinney, known for his roles in Derry Girls and Game of Thrones will be playing Lord Tony Hume.

Martina Laird will be playing Ebele Falade, Max Rinehart will be playing Karol Wojski, Rhys Yates as Jay and Hayley Mills, known for Parent Trap and Tiger Bay, will also be starring in the series as Lady Emma Hume.
