In the same way George Clooney frequently gets compared to a fine wine, so have the years been kind to David Beckham .
You could argue he's come a LONG way since the bleach blond curtained, sarong-wearing, his'n'hers leather outfit-loving Beckham of times past.
Also, remember when he dabbled with cornrows? That happened.
Back in 1998 when his star was very much on the up, football magazine FourFourTwo made a cheeky prediction about what Becks would look like in 2020 with some nifty photoshopping.
Their guesswork, as you'll see, was a little off...

As well as forecasting Becks' looks, they also light-heartedly predicted his fortune, writing:
"Now well into his forties, he is reduced to appearing for England veterans' teams alongside his fellow Fergie fledgelings and reminiscing wistfully about his glory days.
"Posh Spice, who has ballooned to 20st since her singing career collapsed, now models clothes for 'the larger lady'."

Of course, life could not have gone more differently for Posh and Becks.
She's respected fashion designer who's kept her whippet-thin shape. Together, the Beckhams are reported to be worth £339 million thanks to their numerous business ventures.
Fans delighted in the resurfaced image.
"2019 is going to be a tough year for him by the looks of it," wrote one Twitter user.

We are a little way off 2020 but we suspect Beckham isn't panicking too much about this prediction coming true.
