An unemployed mum says she applied for around 200 jobs in a week as she fears she and her kids will be left homeless.
Rosa da Silva lost her job in March due to the coronavirus pandemic - and has been job hunting since.
The mum-of-two, from Seattle, says she has had to clear out all her assets and retirement fund just to make ends meet.
But she says she still cannot pay her rent and the bills are piling up.
"I literally applied for I think 150, maybe even 200 jobs just last week," Rosa told Fox News.
"I’m not able to pay my rent. My rent is behind by about $9,000 now."
Rosa says she has been applying for unemployment benefits weekly but payment has not been regular.
She claims she went six months without receiving payment before she was given the money in backpay all at once.
Rosa says she then began receiving regular payments - but says these have stopped again.
She said: "Am I going to be homeless when this is all done and the moratorium is over? What’s going to happen with me and my kids?"

Shelby says she lost both her jobs and claims she has been unable to qualify for benefits.
