Unearthed Edinburgh video shows Grant Stott starring in hilarious 90s Cameron Toll ad

Dodgy music, retro graphics and an over excited famous local face - this advert for Cameron Toll shopping centre has been unearthed and it might be the most 90s thing we have ever seen.

Broacaster Grant Stott casually strolls across the screen on a floor of colourful graphics, declaring "every things under one roof" as he tried to sell the shopping centre.

Now on BBC Radio Scotland, Grant Stott was a long-time presenter of Forth One and a well known face, and voice, around the city.

So it's no surprise that Cameron Toll chose the King's Panto star to front their ad campaign.

The video was unearthed by the comedy Twitter account Accidental Partridge, Steve Coogan's famous parody of British television personalities.

Locals were quick to pick up on the video, with one pointing out a spinning baby at one point in the clip.

"There's so many shops!" Stott says as he takes a quick stroll through the centre, before locals appear sharing how much they love it too.

"Do not slag off Cameron Toll, it's the king of Edinburgh shopping centres," one local said after the clip was shared, whilst another shared fond memories of a pancake restaurant that was once in the shopping centre.
