Last year, Omega celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Seamaster Diver 300M by updating the original design with modern materials and technologies.
The ceramic and titanium Seamaster Diver 300M Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer.
The new collection includes the bold and black Seamaster Diver 300M Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer, sized at 43.5mm, featuring ceramic and grade-5 titanium.
The black ceramic case has a grade-5 titanium caseback with a wave-patterned edge.
The bezel shares the same combination of materials, with the base in titanium and the ring in black ceramic, punctuated by a diving scale in white enamel.
The polished black ceramic dial is laser-engraved with the characteristic wave pattern, raised from the surface in a "positive relief". Skeleton hands and raised indexes are in PVD titanium and filled with Super-LumiNova to enhance readability.
One of the Diver 300M's most important details has always been its helium escape valve. The redesign has given the valve, positioned at 10 o'clock, a conical shape. The Swiss brand has also patented an ingenious technology that allows it to be operated underwater.
Turning the watch over, anti-reflective sapphire crystal reveals Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, tested and certified by Metas (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) for precision, performance and magnetic resistance.
Providing a 55hr power reserve, the self-winding movement features the signature co-axial escapement, which technically drives greater mechanical efficiency and precision. Aesthetically, the movement boasts luxurious finishes, with the rhodium-plated rotor and bridges adorned with an arabesque Geneva-waves pattern.
Priced at 282,000 baht, the Seamaster Diver 300M Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer can be matched with a black rubber strap or a striped Nato strap.
The new Seamaster Diver 300M collection is available at Omega boutiques at Central Embassy, Siam Paragon and The Emporium.
