Undercover police officers tackle phone raiders with help of shop assistant

A sales assistant in Wiltshire assisted undercover police in stopping a phone shop raid by pushing the raiders out of the store.
Footage released by Chippenham Police on Monday, 18 August 2025, captured the incident at a shop in Borough Parade.
Police had received intelligence that an organised criminal group was targeting the store and had officers on standby.
All six men involved in the attempted raid pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal and were subsequently sentenced at Swindon Crown Court.
