A pensioner is reported to have lost consciousness at the wheel of his Land Rover and ploughed into eight vehicles.
The crash happened in Costco car park on Andover Road in Haydock around midday yesterday.
Police confirmed the driver, a man in his 70s, was driving a Land Rover when it crashed into eight parked cars.

An eyewitness said an older man “lost consciousness” at the wheel and the off road vehicle he was driving crashed into a white van.
The 4x4 is then said to have pushed a Nissan into metal trolley barriers before hitting a Ford Focus into a number of parked cars.
No injuries were reported and the driver was medically assessed at the scene.
Police said the driver was not under the influence of alcohol and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “We were called to Costco on Andover Road around midday yesterday (Monday 7 December) to reports of a Land Rover colliding with eight parked cars.
“No injuries were caused and the driver, a man in his 70s, was medically assessed.
“He provided a negative breath test at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.”
