An unconscious driver was rescued by a pair of police officers who dragged her from her car following a crash from her burning car following a crash in Wisconsin.

Dashcam footage shows Deputy Carsten Jahr running up to the vehicle after receiving reports of a car striking a tree in Holmen on 13 February.

Deputy Jahr shattered the car window and cut the driver's seatbelt before Deputy Walker Stoner ran over to help him pull her out to safety.

Both officers were awarded Life Saving Awards on 23 February for their “swift actions” which helped save the life of the driver.
