Uncle Gobb and the Dread Shed by Michael Rosen and Neal Layton - review

Michael Rosen, Uncle Gobb and the Dread Shed (Uncle Gobb 1)

The book is about a boy called Malcolm, who thinks the capital of Rome is Ponky, and has a friend called Crackersnacker. He has to tolerate his Uncle Gobb, his rules (like how it is bread on beans instead of beans on bread!), and his threats of putting Malcolm in the Dread Shed.

This book is funny and very peculiar. It is really easy to imagine because of the great illustrations. My favourite part is where a genie pops out of Malcolm's nose and Malcolm is my favourite character because he is very random.

I would recommend this book to a person who wants a joyful, fun book, a young person who loves reading or a Michael Rosen fan.
