CHAPEL HILL, N.C. _ Asked at ACC basketball media day on Tuesday how Joel Berry broke his hand, Theo Pinson broke into a smile.
"Ask Joel," said Pinson, a North Carolina senior forward.
Pinson appeared to be on the verge of laughter. Not long after, it became clear why: Berry, the Tar Heels' senior point guard, broke a bone in his right hand after losing a video game against Pinson and a student manager, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported after a conversation with UNC coach Roy Williams.
Berry is expected to miss approximately four weeks.
