Unboxing Razer's Jaw-Dropping Mercury White Blade 15 Gaming Laptop

Razer’s Mercury White suite.

A few days ago, the awesome folks over at Razer were kind enough to send over a full box of the company’s pristine Mercury White lineup, both for an unboxing article (what you’re reading here) and a full review piece, which is coming very soon. Included in the shipment was a Kraken Pro V2 analog gaming headset, a Lancehead TE 5G optical mouse, an Invicta dual-sided gaming mouse mat, and best of all, the brand new limited edition Mercury White Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop. The only thing missing, really, was the accompanying BlackWidow X mechanical keyboard and those sweet Hammerhead earbuds, so should you indulge in this sweet theming, just know that you can buy those accessories in Mercury White as well.

I won’t get into any specific specs or performance reports with this particular post, as that’ll be included in my upcoming impressions overview. Instead, let’s all just enjoy shiny photos of these incredibly slick pieces of kit. If you’re in the market for a Blade 15, do you need to buy everything in Mercury White? Absolutely not, but after seeing all this stuff in person, I’m not exactly sure how any warm-blooded gamer could possibly resist. I know it’s a bit sacrilege, but what I love about this special hardware line is how non-gamer it is. You can easily take this stuff to an Important Business Meeting, and then during your lunch break at In-N-Out afterward, get busy with some Fortnite or Overwatch. I’d probably call it classy, or dare I say, gamer-chic.

But enough blabbing. Let’s get to the goods. Look out for a more in-depth review in the coming weeks, and if you’re already interested in buying the MW Blade 15, it’s only available directly from Razer.

The Mercury White Razer Blade 15 might be the world’s most attractive laptop.

The Kraken Pro V2 doesn’t require any USB power–just plug and play.
The Kraken Pro V2 looks excellent in white and has really solid sound quality.
