Lake Macquarie's Rhiannan Iffland has won the Red Bull cliff-diving world series event in Spain, to cap off an historic unbeaten 2019 campaign.
Iffland claimed victory for the seventh time in as many events to become the first diver, male of female, to go through a season without defeat.
The 28-year-old from Nords Wharf, who secured the King Kahekili trophy three weeks ago at the penultimate leg in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has claimed the series title an unprecedented four years in succession.
"I'm still pinching myself really," Iffland said after her triumphant effort in front of 27,000 fans in Bilbao.
"It was actually really tough coming to this event when you already sealed the title in Mostar, but this year was amazing for me and I want to continue enjoying the sport as much as I have this season."
Iffland started her diving career under the tuition of Hunter Diving Academy coach Eric Brooker at Lambton Pool.
She joined the Red Bull tour in 2016 as a wildcard and won her first event.
Iffland's campaign off the 21-metre platform included scoring four perfect 10s for her final dive in Mostar last month.
