Unai Emery is refusing to look too far into the future as pressure over his position as Arsenal head coach mounts.
The Gunners have been linked with a number of other managers in the past month, with results going against the side and putting intense pressure on Emery's shoulders.
Arsenal have not won in the last five Premier League games and go into a Europa League game with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday under scrutiny.
The Gunners can qualify for the knockout stages with a draw or a win against their German visitors, although defeat and a Standard Liege victory over Vitoria would make for an enthralling final round of matches in the competition.
Reports surfaced on Wednesday linking Arsenal with a move for Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo and he is now the favourite to replace Emery at the Emirates if he is sacked.
And there is a growing feeling around the club that it is a matter of when, rather than if Emery bites the bullet.
Ahead of the game with the Bundesliga side, Emery was asked if links with other managers worried him.
And his answer was telling.
He said: "My future is today and tomorrow.
"My job is to prepare the match tomorrow, to look only at the match tomorrow."
Emery is not looking at what the future holds for him in the long-term, with his only focus on the upcoming match.
The question then becomes does he have a long-term future at th Emirates?
