Unai Emery's half-time message to Arsenal players after collapse against Wolves

Unai Emery has revealed what he said to his Arsenal players during the half-time break at Molineux.

The Gunners found themselves 3-0 down to Wolverhamtpon Wanderers at the break following goals from Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty and Jota.

Arsenal looked shell-shocked as they went in at the break, and Emery says that his message to the team was about getting a goal back to change the momentum of the game.

Fans noticed what Arsenal's Granit Xhaka did during Ruben Neves' free-kick and they're not happy

They managed to do through Sokratis Papastathopoulos, however it was too little too late as Nuno Espirito Santo's side secured a comfortable victory.

He said: "In the dressing room we spoke of how we needed to recover and be strong in our mind, score one goal was the first idea and after if we can take minutes we can continue in our plans.

"The second half is different but not enough.

“We are disappointed but we need also to look at all the season. It’s not in our hands but we need to prepare the best possible match on Sunday.”

Attention for the Gunners now turns to a tricky away test against Leicester City on Sunday.
