Villarreal star Samuel Chukwueze has hailed the work of Unai Emery ahead of the Spaniard’s return to Arsenal this week.
Emery was sacked by Arsenal in November 2019, but he has since rebuilt his reputation in Spain with Villarreal.
The Spaniard has guided them to the semi-finals of the Europa League and he is now set for a reunion with his old club, Arsenal.
The pair will meet for the first leg on Thursday and, ahead of it, Chukwueze has been singing the praises of Emery.
“I enjoy playing under Unai Emery,” LaLiga ambassador Chukwueze said, speaking at an event for LiveScore. “He’s amazing, and so tactical in everything he does. He can push you to the limit, but he is a fantastic coach.
“He has an amazing football brain. He has amazed me how I have seen him change things from game to game.
“Sometimes when I watch him from the bench, I have looked at him and noticed changes he makes which work for him that are great to see. He is so good at his job and is a fantastic coach.”
