Unai Emery has confirmed Kieran Tierney will make his long-awaited Arsenal bow for the club's Under-23 side on Friday.
Tierney has not played for the club since his summer transfer from Celtic after undergoing surgery last season.
But Arsenal fans will get a chance to see their new signing in action on Friday night.
Tierney is set to play against Wolves , with fellow defender Hector Bellerin also in line to feature.
The right-back has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury against Manchester United in January.
Both players have been working towards their comebacks in recent weeks and will get some much-needed minutes for the Under-23s.
Emery revealed the news after watching his side beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in the Europa League.
The Arsenal boss rang the changes but a youthful line-up performed excellently in Germany.
Youngsters Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka were both on target, as was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Speaking afterwards, Emery said: We know tonight that match was difficult. They were very strong here.
"They’re a very offensive team and defensively we needed to work, sometimes deep, sometimes with their full-backs very deep, crossing a lot to the strikers.
“We spoke and worked the transition, if we were organised defensively and with a good pressing against them.
“We did that. We had the possibility with the young players to create chances and help them, also sharing with experienced players. Their performance tonight was good. It’s our way.”
