Unai Emery handed fresh injury scare in Arsenal's Europa League clash with Vitoria

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will be sweating on the fitness of midfielder Dani Ceballos after he came off with a suspected hamstring injury in the Europa League clash with Vitoria this afternoon (Wednesday).

The Spaniard, who is currently on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid, pulled up with what looked to be a hamstring problem in the early stages of the second half of the Group F game in Portugal.

Ceballos tried to continue, but it soon became clear that he could not, with Emery forced into a change as he replaced the 23-year-old with Frenchman Matteo Guendouzi.

Ceballos, who was making his 17th appearance in all competitions for the Gunners this season, went straight down the tunnel in Guimaraes after being substituted, although the extent of the injury is not yet known.

Emery is likely to provide an update on the Spanish midfielder in his post-match press conference, although Ceballos could now be a doubt for the Premier League clash with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in what is Arsenal's last game before the international break.

After the game against Leicester, Arsenal are not back in action until November 23, when Southampton will be the visitors to the Emirates Stadium.
