Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has attempted to give Arsenal fans some good news after seeing French striker Alexandre Lacazette limp off against Lyon in the Emirates Cup.
The forward went down to receive treatment from the Arsenal physio in the opening minutes of the game and was removed minutes later by Emery to be replaced by Reiss Nelson.
Lacazette was later spotted in the Arsenal dugout wearing a protective boot around his left leg.
When he originally went down it appeared to football.london 's Hugo Greenhalgh in the press box that Lacazette was simply getting some attention and more strapping to his foot but that turned out to be wishful thinking.
The forward was later spotted limping through the mixed zone after the game wearing the same protective boot, only fuelling worries over his possible injury.

Lacazette had attempted to play on after going down for treatment on the pitch but after one shot wide he was taken off.
However, Unai Emery was keen to dampen fears around his striker in the press conference after today's game.
He told reporters that the club did not think things were serious but that they did not want to take that risk on a injury in his ankle.
He said: "We are thinking it’s not important. He decided with the doctor and with me, he’s better not to risk.
"He tried to continue playing but I think it was better in this position to not take risk and the doctor said to me he’s going to check tomorrow but we’re thinking it’s not important."
Arsenal have confirmed that Lacazette will be assessed over the coming days.
