'Unacceptable' - Fans raging after Fantasy Premier League decision over Liverpool star Mohamed Salah

Liverpool kept their Premier League title hopes alive thanks to a 3-2 win over Newcastle last weekend, thanks to a late winner from substitute Divock Origi.

Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring for Liverpool but they were pegged back to 1-1 after Christian Atsu's close range effort.

Mohamed Salah put the Reds back in front thanks to an outstanding finish, scooping the ball into the far corner.

But, Salomon Rondon made it 2-2 with a powerful left-foot drive.

With the Reds title hopes fading, Origi won the game with just five minutes to go, after heading past Martin Dubravka, although replays showed it actually came off Jamaal Lascelles and went in the net.

Nevertheless, Liverpool had claimed a vital three points, with the title race set to go to the last game of the season.

However, not all fans were happy after the game and it was all down to the Fantasy Premier League.

The Fantasy Premier League distribute bonus points after every game, with the best players from each team picking up bonuses for their performances during the 90 minutes.

Here are the bonus points that were awarded by the FPL for the Newcastle vs Liverpool game:

So despite scoring an outstanding goal to put Liverpool ahead, Salah was absent from the bonus list, but Salomon Rondon was given three points, also for scoring one goal.

Some fans have been angry with the FPL in recent weeks, particularly with the lack of bonus points given to Salah for his performances.

This latest decision made some fans very unhappy and were calling for Salah to get at least one bonus point.

He may have missed out on bonus points, but he's still the Premier League's top scorer.
