Una Stubbs has died at the age of 84, her agent confirmed.
The actress was famous for starring in TV shows such as Till Death Us Do Part, Sherlock, and EastEnders.
She had been battling illness and died at her home in Edinburgh today surrounded by family.

Una Stubbs was born in Hertfordshire in 1937 and shot to stardom after she appeared in the 1963 Cliff Richard film, Summer Holiday.
Her breakthrough in comedy came in the classic BBC sitcom Till Death Us Do Part.
She went on to enjoy a varied career in television, including shows such as Casualty, Fawlty Towers and Benidorm.
The veteran television actress also appeared as Caroline Bishop in six episodes of EastEnders in 2006.
