Una Healy tells all on David Haye throuple rumours - insisting she was never 'romantic' with his ex Sian

Una Healy has finally dished the details on the rumoured throuple with boxer David Hayes and Sian Osborne – and confirmed she never even kissed Sian.

The Saturdays singer has opened up about her relationship with the champion boxer, admitting she didn’t realise he was still “very involved” with what she thought was his ex-girlfriend Sian.

Speaking to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Una revealed that David had been pushing the “throuple” narrative.

Una - who has two children with her ex-husband Ben Foden - revealed: “Dating him is the right term because that's how it was, it wasn't a throuple. We had a lovely relationship.”

She revealed she met David on celebrity dating app Raya and the pair became friends after she discovered his dating past.

Referring to infidelity rumours that have plagued David, Una confessed: “I straight out asked him ‘what are you looking for?’ because I did a Google and thought ‘I'm probably going straight from the frying pan to the fire with this one because he did exactly to his wife what my ex husband did to me.’ I didn't like that.”

Una revealed that David told her that he was single but that he “didn't believe the traditional relationship exists anymore”, so Una decided to call an end to anything romantic.

However, after speaking every day, the pair grew close and began to see each other casually and would go on dates whenever the Irish beauty was in London for work.

“It was casual, it wasn't serious. I was happy enough with it. It was in a romantic capacity.

“He was very honest that I wasn't the only woman he was seeing, I was very aware he was seeing other people. I knew he was being honest and it's not like I was being cheated on.

“I knew he wasn't husband material, just a bit of fun and I was enjoying it.”

However, Una revealed that gradually she became aware that David was talking more and more to his ex-girlfriend Sian and so she asked the boxer what was going on.

David then confessed that Sian was still “very involved” in his life and because he found both women “very special” he wanted them to meet.

But Una didn't want to meet Sian but was worried that if the public thought she and David were dating, they would think he was cheating on Sian with the Tipperary native.

So she posed for a picture with the pair - but revealed she was never “romantic” with her.

“At least if we were all pictured together, we're all a happy family, there's nothing sinister going on.

“He doesn't label, he's never called her [Sian] his girlfriend, he's open, polyamorous. So I did meet her and she was a really nice girl but there was nothing going on there so it wasn't a throuple. I wasn't romantic with her, I don't really know her.”

The trio sent tongues wagging in January when David shared a cosy snap with his arms around the bikini-clad beauties on a trip to Morocco but Una was quick to clear up the circumstances surrounding their festive getaway.

She explained that she wanted to leave Ireland over Christmas because it was ex-husband Ben's turn to have their children Tadhg, seven, and Aoife Bell, 10, for the holidays.

Una had asked David if he wanted to go on holiday but revealed the boxer had insisted that Sian join them for the getaway.

She recalled: “The honesty was there, and I found that attractive. I remember on the flight over he was in the middle seat and he had one hand on her leg and one hand on mine.

“I said to him, ‘what am I doing?’ and he goes ‘you're having a midlife crisis but don't worry so am I!’ and I thought ‘she's [Sian's] not because she's 10 years younger!’”

After returning from the trip, claims of a 'throuple' began to emerge in the media, with Una confessing she had to Google the term because she'd never heard of it but was being “trolled to death” on her social media.

But she said despite the trolling and the rumours, she agreed to go on another holiday to Costa Rica with the pair – buit as soon as she landed she heard a song The Boy Is Mine by Brandy and Monica and likened it to her own situation.

“As soon as I got there, I could hear the song. It just wasn't right.

“There's no dynamic there - she's not my girlfriend - he's both our boyfriend and I just thought, ‘I'm out, you can have him.’

“He can have whoever he wants because one [woman] will never be enough for him.”

After explaining to David that she could no longer date him, she revealed he told her that she'd “unsubscribed from the team” but added that it was “fair enough, you do what makes you happy,” with Una noting “he's just living his truth, his authentic self.”

Although their relationship had ended in January, David shocked her by paying tribute to her on Valentine's Day.

Asked by podcast host Joanne if the 'throuple' was a narrative being pushed by David, Una said while she was “in bits” about the terminology being used to describe her relationship with him, David was “very happy about it”.

“He didn't get it, he was always trying to coach me on how not to get upset but I've never had to hit the block button so much. I had a list of words blocked on Instagram.

“I don't want to be in a three-way relationship.”

Despite this, Una revealed that she harbours no bad feelings towards David, insisting that there was no bitterness and that while she doesn't talk to Sian, she still keeps in contact with the boxer.

“I really enjoyed my relationship with him. He was very kind to me and very honest but it ran its course and I've been single ever since.”

She also revealed she has since stayed off dating apps after “hating” the first half of this year and is releasing new music. Her new single Walk Away, noting that it does rhyme with David Haye, will be released soon.

On her decision to speak out on the 'throuple', she added: “I feel relieved I've got to say my bit. The truth from the horse's mouth.”
