Una Healy says she is in 'a good place' as she juggles being a working mum

Una Healy has admitted she's in a good place following her split from ex husband Ben Foden.

The Saturdays singer, 39, married the rugby player, 35, in 2012 before allegations of him cheating saw the pair divorce in 2018.

The pair have two children together, nine-year-old Aoife and Tadhg, six.

And Una insists she now set on rebuilding her life with her two kids as well as focusing on her solo music and media career.

Talking to The Sun, the singer said: "It was a different chapter when I was with the girls. We were constantly on the road. I’m juggling being a working mum and a full-time mum. But I’m in a good place now.”

She also admitted that she has a good relationship with her children.

"We’re very close. They’re really good kids and get on well," she added.

And she insists that there's no place like home as she sings the praises of her parents who look after the kids while she records her slots for TV and radio.

While Una and the kids live in Ireland, Ben lives stateside with his second wife Jackie.

The pair married just 14 days after being introduced to each other as soon as Ben and Una's divorce was finalised..

Jackie gave birth to the couple's first child together, Farrah, last summer.

Una admitted that while Ben doesn't see his kids often because of the distance, the time he does spend with them is quality.

But the family was left devastated as Ben and Jackie prepared to welcome Aoife and Tadhg to their home this summer.

Due to travel restrictions caused by Covid-19, the youngsters were left unable to enter the US, meaning all plans for an eventful summer had to be binned.

Instead, Jackie revealed that the couple would instead make the journey across the water themselves and head to Ireland after the sports star finishes his season with his US club.

"Having to break these poor babies' hearts who had their hopes up for a fun summer with their dad and sister, we are all not okay right now," she said in a lengthy message posted on her Instagram stories.

"Una was a rockstar with them, they were on the phone with their dad. Both Una and he calmed them down. I am very much not okay and I am a complete mess."
