Una Healy has opened up about her heartbreak from hell from ex Ben Foden saying: “I was going through hell."
Posting a throwback picture from this time last year, when she dyed her trademark red tresses blonde for a short period, the Saturdays singer admitted she was hiding heartbreak behind her smile.
The mother of two announced her separation from rugby ace Ben Foden in July 2018, calling off their planned move to the United States and relocating to her mother’s home in Ireland with their two children.
Recalling the tough time, the Tipperary native, who shares two children with the rugby ace said: “Back in my blonde days. I might look happy here, but I was going through hell.
“Time is a healer and so blessed right now.”
The country singer is currently loved up with GAA star David Breen.
Meanwhile, love rat Foden, who admitted to cheating during his six year marriage to Healy, announced he re-married this summer.
Announcing the news last month, he said: “This last year has been by far my toughest and most turbulent for a number of reasons that many of you I’m sure are aware of, in some way or another.
“The world has a funny way of working things out, many people think I’m a bad person, but I met a girl who seriously swept me off my feet and in a time of hardship showed me love, a deep devoted love.”
“People will say we are mad or crazy or even fools as Jacqueline and I had only been dating seriously for a little over 2 weeks before deciding to get married.
“But when someone like her comes into your life, why would I wait?”
“The people who needed to know, such as close family and friends were told before anyone else and they are happy for me including my beautiful X wife @unahealy who I love even more for her blessing.
“Life is short and you only get one and it’s worth living. Jackie is the greatest human being I’ve ever come across,” he added.
