Una Healy breaks silence after David Breen 'split' rumours

Una Healy has broken her social media silence since rumours of her break up began - telling women to “never underestimate your power and strength”.

The Instagram post came just days after it was rumoured the country singer has split from her Limerick boyfriend David Breen.

In the post for International Women’s Day, which referenced a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, the Tipperary born singer, 38, said: “To all my fellow women out there.. Never underestimate your power and strength.”

Meanwhile, the empowering quote in the picture read: “A woman is like a teabag, you never know how strong it is until it’s in hot water.”

Friends and fans flocked to support the unlucky in love singer-songwriter in the comments, sending her well wishes and love.

One wrote: “And you’ve been on the hottest waters and you made it through like the strong woman you are.

“Happy international women’s day to you, Una and to every woman in the world.”

Another said: “Especially after what you went through with that p***k!

“You are amazing Una, wishing you all the best.”

Una, who shares two kids, Aoife Belle and Tadhg with ex husband Ben Foden had been dating Breen for over a year after making their relationship public in Christmas 2018.

And while she is yet to address the break-up rumours, she has notably deleted all traces of the hurler from her social media over the past few days.

The rumoured split comes just days after her ex Foden recently unveiled his new wife’s pregnancy.

Last week, the rugby ace shared a picture of his American wife, Jackie Smith Foden’s, sizable baby bump less than seven months after their whirlwind wedding.

Ben and Jackie, who now live in New York City, have yet to publicly acknowledge the pregnancy.
