Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey has established himself as a firm fans' favourite with Juventus and earned himself a new nickname from the Italian media.
Ramsey has slowly but surely established himself in Italy, earning the respect of supporters, team-mates and the press.
He has played in 16 of the club's matches this season, with his work ethic impressing observers in Italy. He shone in the recent big Serie A match against Milan and was superb in the 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona last month.
Italian football journalist Nicky Baldini told the BBC. "The Italian media are interestingly positioning him as 'un gregario', which literally means like an assistant. So he is someone who is seen as a hard worker who puts in a shift so that your Cristiano Ronaldos and your glory boys can go and take the limelight for themselves.
"I think it is interesting as I don't think he would necessarily imagine himself as being that but I do think that speaks as to how he is viewed in Italy.
"He's viewed as someone who is selfless, who works for the team, and these are the qualities that wherever you go in the world fans endear themselves quickly to you. Both Ramsey and Weston Mckennie, the Texan midfielder, have positioned themselves in the minds of the fans as the players who are going to do the work for the team and be selfless, so they are very easy to like."
Ramsey joined Juve in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer after more than a decade at Arsenal.
