Rock fans are complaining that umbrellas are not allowed inside the Download Festival arena, despite the continued rain.
People are not being allowed to take brollies where acts are performing because of health and safety rules.
Umbrellas are listed on the Download website as one of the items you cannot take into the arena.
Umbrellas and golf umbrellas are allowed in the campsite.
However, some fans have questioned whether the rule should be relaxed due to the weather.
One festivalgoer tweeted the festival: "@DownloadFest are you serious!!!!!! No umbrellas at all allowed in the arena???? Why??? How can you justify this????"
Download replied: "It's due to health and safety sorry and visibility - if there are 80,000 people with umbrellas up it's a risk."
The punter added: "Health and safety???? Come on. I can just about understand visibility but not health and safety.
"We need straw and wood chippings everywhere and metal walk ways in the village. You’ve known about this weather for weeks now."
Other social media users have contacted Download to find out whether they will be allowed to bring an umbrella with them.
Earlier this week, Download organisers insisted that the event wouldn't be cancelled despite the weather conditions this year.
But some festivalgoers have already left as their tents and belongings were destroyed by torrential rain.
Some abandoned their plans altogether, with tickets being advertised on social media and ticket reselling platforms.
With rain and wind predicted over the rest of the weekend , there's no doubt that 2019 will be another Drownload.
But maybe leave the umbrella at home - and don't forget your rain mac.
