A man caught on CCTV holding an umbrella is wanted by police probing a vicious attack on two men outside a bar - one of whom has yet to fully recover.
Police today released still of the man they "believe he may have information" into the disturbing scenes outside Punch Tarmey’s bar in the Baltic Triangle.
Police say folowing a disturbance outside the bar in Grafton Street two men were assaulted.
A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, which he is still suffering the effects of - several months after the attack which took place around 10.15pm on Saturday, October 3.
Merseyside Police are urging anyone who knows the man pictured to come forward.
Detective Inspector Amy Smith said, “This was a nasty disturbance which left two men injured, one with a serious head injury.
“We are keen to speak with the man pictured as we believe he can help us establish what took place.
"If you are the man pictured, recognise him, witnessed the incident, or have any information, please let us know.”
