Ultrabeat to perform DJ set at huge Christmas party at Mecca Bingo in Blyth

You'll 'never have to be alone' with the news that Ultrabeat are on their way to Tyneside to play a gig in another unlikely venue!

The act responsible for massive Clubland anthem Pretty Green Eyes are no strangers to the region, having played a number of Newcastle nightclubs including the now closed Ikon and Destiny and venues like O2 Academy Newcastle, but on December 28 they will take to the stage at Mecca Bingo in Blyth, having gone down a storm at Mecca in Gateshead in June.

While of course we're still in July, the Bonkers Bingo  event is set to quickly sell out and the best news is that it's a Saturday night!

The Facebook description for the night reads "Bonkers Bingo is BACK with a vengeance with a LIVE DJ set Feat. Ultrabeat and this time we're sassier, fiercer, but definitely not classier.
"We don't bring the party. We are the party.
"Fresh beats will be dropped on the decks, tasty grub is served all night and the drinks are over-flowing. (However fabulously you drink, please drink responsibly.)
"The bingo is intense, the prizes are crap (cat tongue brush, anyone?) and the costumes are atrocious.

"But leave your ego at the door, because when we say you twerk on a pole... You twerk on a pole."

Tickets, priced £11.37, are available online now from Eventbrite.
