Having the best Race available in Nethros can provide you with a significant advantage both in PvE and PvP. Now, as Races greatly differ from one another, and changing them is difficult, we prepared the following Nethros Race tier list and reroll guide to help you look only for the best ones when creating a new character.
Nethros Race Tier List
Nethros Race Tier List
In the above tier list, we ranked all Races in Nethros based on how good they are both for PvE and PvP overall. For the most part, bonuses given by Races are not that significant, but they can be impactful. For example, Draconic grants you a unique fire/flame damage buff that is amazing for specific builds. Still, Taurin and Geonite are the two you want to look out for, as both Races add an amazing defensive layer to your character.
List of Nethros Races

Below, you can check out the bonuses and the rarity of each Race in Nethros. We also included some pros and cons for each Race to give some context behind our tier list. The rarity chances of each Race are based on the actual chance of getting them when creating a new character.
Race | Race Virtue Bonuses | Pros & Cons |
---|---|---|
+ Decent Race ability that can come in clutch in certain scenarios − The worst Race overall in Nethros |
||
+ Excellent Race for new players + Prevents you from getting stun-locked in certain situations + Makes getting parried not as punishing |
||
+ Grants you an amazing defensive layer + Prevents enemies from trying to burst you after a block break + Very good defensive Race overall |
||
+ Advanced Dash greatly improves your mobility and ability to dodge attacks + Being able to apply bleed is amazing both in PvE and PvP − You apply bleed only while you have Momentum |
||
+ Very good Race for builds that use flame/fire damage − Not as universally useful as most other Races |
||
+ Increased climbing height and wallrun speed are really useful for exploring + You gain a reliable way of applying poison with attacks + Excellent Race for PvE grinding |
||
+ Basically makes you overpowered when fighting enemies with fire/flame attacks − Situational usefulness makes it not so great overall |
||
+ Being able to see enemy HP during fights can be useful + Instant access to Mana saves you a bit of grinding early on − The most underwhelming Race overall, considering it is the rarest one |
How to Reroll Your Race in Nethros

There are two ways to reroll your Race in Nethros: using Robux to reroll it in the character creation menu and creating a new character. Each Race reroll costs 125 Robux. You can't get the same Race you currently have when rerolling, as that one is removed from the pool. Therefore, if you have a very common Race, such as Human, the chances of obtaining a rare Race are higher. Both of the above-mentioned methods can only be done during character creation. With that in mind, changing your Race in Nethros isn't possible after you finish creating a character.
How to Wipe Your Character in Nethros
Now, if you don't want to spend Robux on rerolling your Race, you can do the classic move: wipe your character and create it again. However, this can be a bit tedious as you need to die 10 times in a row, fracturing your Soul bar fully, before you arrive at The Gates of Guf, where you can choose to wipe your character by interacting with The Origin NPC there.
To die quickly, you can either jump off a cliff into an area with no ground or provoke a nearby guard NPC to kill you. Your Soul status bar is located right above your HP, and you can hover over it to see how many more times you have to die before being transported into The Gates of Guf. Keep in mind that deaths caused by using the Respawn function in the ESC menu of Roblox do not decrease your Soul bar.
That sums up our Nethros Race tier list and reroll guide. Let us know which Race you managed to get and what you think of it in the comments below. For more information about the game, make sure to check out our Nethros Trello and beginner guides as well.
Nethros Race Tier List FAQs
This isn't a visual bug; it's just a design choice made by the developers for your current Race not to be on the list of Races in the creation menu.
Since you can't see the rarity of your Race during character creation, the only way to find it out is by referencing our Nethros Race list or by asking on the official Nethros Discord server.
No, once you've finished creating a character in Nethros, you can't change your Race afterwards.
