Added complete how to unlock weapons in Megabonk guide, as well as best weapons section.
There are plenty of weapons to choose from in Megabonk, and if you’re still undecided on which ones to unlock and which ones to leave alone, this Megabonk weapons tier list will definitely help. We’ll separate the best weapons from the rest to save you the grind, so you can focus on climbing up the leaderboard.
Megabonk Weapons Tier List
Considering the various possible builds and all the synergies in Megabonk, choosing the best weapons in Megabonk can be very difficult. That’s why, keeping all those stats and combos in mind, we’ve come up with this Megabonk weapons tier list.
Note: This tier list was based on our playing experience. If you have different oppinion, share your weapon ranking with us in the comments below.
Tier | Weapons |
---|---|
S | Aegis, Aura, Bananarang, Dice, Sniper Rifle |
A | Bow, Corrupted Sword, Dexecutioner, Firestaff, Flamewalker, Katana, Lightning Staff, Revolver |
B | Axe, Blood Magic, Bone, Dragon’s Breath, Frostwalker, Hero Sword, Shotgun, Slutty Rocket, Wireless Dagger |
C | Poison Flask, Space Noodle, Sword, Tornado |
D | Black Hole, Chunkers, Mines |

You’ll see the weapons ranked into five different tiers. S tier weapons are the meta weapons that have multiple synergies and work well with almost every character. A tier has all the second-best options, and the B tier is full of weapons that shine in character-specific builds. Weapons in C and D tiers are best avoided if you want to make it on that leaderboard.

- Aura - No aim required, hits all sides
- Bananarang - Excellent scaling and lifesteal synergy
- Sniper Rifle - Highest base damage (22)
- Revolver - Great projectile count and crit potential
- Aegis - Best defensive option
Which Are the Best Meta Weapons?

As mentioned above, every weapon in Megabonk is good in one way or another. However, there are a few meta weapons that work well with every character and every build, and we've listed them below:
Weapon | Reason |

Aura (Megachad's Weapon) | The best AoE weapon in the game. Superb for quickly farming XP during enemy swarms. |
Revolver (CL4NK's Weapon) | One of the few weapons that you can actually aim. Has superb base stats and only gets better with upgrades. Breaks the game when used in a CRIT-based build. |
