You can enchant your Shovel in DIG by turning in an Enchantment Tome at the Enchantment Altar in the Azure Hollow within the Cinder Cavern. To reach the Azure Hollow, take the elevator down from the surface level of Cinder Cavern (costs $1,000). Then, follow the path with glowing blue mushrooms.
How to Get Enchantment Tomes
Enchantment Tomes can drop while digging with a ~1/250 chance. Also, once you reach level 25, you can visit the Wizard's Tower at the Rooftop Woodlands and buy Enchantment Tomes from him for $15,000 per tome. The Wizard spawns only during clear summer nights.
