Ulster team to play Edinburgh: Jacob Stockdale, Stuart McCloskey and Jordi Murphy all given green light to start

Jacob Stockdale, Stuart McCloskey and Jordi Murphy have been given the green light to start in Ulster's bid to make the Guinness PRO14 final tomorrow night.

The trio picked up injuries in last week's loss to Leinster in Dublin - the province's second in succession since the end of lockdown.

But Dan McFarland is boosted by their availability for the tough trip to Murrayfield to face Edinburgh.

McFarland has restored Billy Burns to the out-half position in place of Ian Madigan, while Louis Ludik and Alan O'Connor also return to the line-up

Burns continues to skipper the side in the absence of the injured Iain Henderson and links up again with John Cooney in the half-backs.

O'Connor's inclusion in the second row alongside Sam Carter is the only change to the pack.

Ulster:  Jacob Stockdale, Louis Ludik, James Hume, Stuart McCloskey, Rob Lyttle, Billy Burns (capt), John Cooney; Eric O’Sullivan, Rob Herring, Tom O’Toole, Alan O’Connor, Sam Carter, Matthew Rea, Jordi Murphy, Marcell Coetzee.

Replacements: John Andrew, Jack McGrath, Marty Moore, Kieran Treadwell, Sean Reidy, Alby Mathewson, Ian Madigan, Michael Lowry.
