Ulster team to face the Toyota Cheetahs in Guinness PRO14

James Hume and Michael Lowry have boosted Ulster by returning from injury to start against the Toyota Cheetahs on Saturday night (7.35pm)

Hume, whose last game was against the Cardiff Blues in October, will line out at inside centre, while Lowry starts at full-back at the Kingspan Stadium.

The 21-year-olds, who won three Schools Cups together at RBAI, are among five changes to the Ulster side that lost narrowly at Ospreys last weekend.

Lowry is joined in the back three by wingers Robert Baloucoune and Louis Ludik, while Luke Marshall has once again been named in midfield alongside Hume.

In the pack, Eric O’Sullivan and Marty Moore will anchor each side of the front row at loosehead and tighthead prop, with Adam McBurney selected at hooker.

Alan O’Connor will captain the team and is named in the second row with Kieran Treadwell, while Nick Timoney and Jordi Murphy return at blindside and openside flanker.

Ulster lie second in Conference A, 15 points behind runaway leaders Leinster and six clear of the Cheetahs in third.

ULSTER: Michael Lowry, Robert Baloucoune, Luke Marshall, James Hume, Louis Ludik, Bill Johnston, David Shanahan; Eric O'Sullivan, Adam McBurney, Marty Moore, Alan O'Connor, Kieran Treadwell, Nick Timoney, Jordi Murphy, Marcell Coetzee.
