Ulster injury news as prop Marty Moore is ruled out for rest of the season

Ulster Rugby have been dealt a blow with news that prop Marty Moore will miss the rest of the season.

Moore was taken off after just nine minutes of last week's win over Edinburgh with an ankle problem.

It has now been confirmed that he sustained ligament damage in the Guinness PRO14 match and will see a specialist later this week.

Moore has proved an important member of Dan McFarland's squad this season but Ulster will now have to enter the play-offs without him.

Meanwhile, Ulster say they will monitor Jacob Stockdale's hamstring injury.

"Jacob Stockdale sustained a hamstring injury in the same game. His recovery will be monitored on an ongoing basis," the province said in an update.
